Position Control Units Omron CS series

Position Control units Omron CS-series are the special unit of Omron PLCs CS series to control Servo driver or Stepping motor in making position. This position control units. This position control units usually also called by the  name NC units. NC units have a primary function as pulse generator that is used to drive the servo driver or servo motor controller.

The main convenience of NC units are all positioning parameters can be done with the program through the work area and data memory area (DM).

Connecting GP3000 with Omron PLCs C/V Series

To connect the Digital Proface GP3000 with Omron PLCs C/CV series, required setting of communication parameter between them. Two kinds of software needed to perform these setting.
  1. Omron CX Programmer, to set the PLC communication parameter.
  2. GP-Pro EX, to set GP3000 series communication parameter.
PLC type to be used as an example is the Omron C200HG. Communication will be done via the RS232C port on the CPU unit.

Omron Modular PLCs Series

This type of Omron Modular PLCs is widely used as a machine control because It is middle PLC which is expandable both input-output and functions. It is flexible of Omron Sysmac with easy structure arranged on backplane. However, there are several PLCs are connected with backplane-free structure between CPU and modules so it is not necessary the backplane.
Unlike the model of Omron Micro PLCs, modules can be added as needed through a backplane or backplane-free structure.The modules could be positioning, analog, communication, counter, standard I/O and so on.
