Connecting GP3000 with Omron PLCs C/V Series

To connect the Digital Proface GP3000 with Omron PLCs C/CV series, required setting of communication parameter between them. Two kinds of software needed to perform these setting.

1. Omron CX Programmer, to set the PLC communication parameter.
2. GP-Pro EX, to set GP3000 series communication parameter.

PLC type to be used as an example is the Omron C200HG. Communication will be done via the RS232C port on the CPU unit.

Graphic operator interface GP3000 is HMI or the touch screen is manufactured by Proface. GP3000 comes with the major features such as Video input interface, USB, Sound input, Various communication, video unit, ethernet interface, CF card, and serial communication.
Referring to what is required by the user, GP3000 is devided into four class. Classes are devided based on the features or facilities that exist in each class of GP3000.

Conversion of Omron NT Touch Screen

Omron NT touch screen is currently difficult to be purchased. or even this has been discontinued model. NT series has been substituted with the new touch screen NS series.
